Door To Gaming is an independent gaming publication for people who take games seriously. We cover the games, the hardware, and the industry news that actually matter to players — with more honesty and depth than the endless churn of reblogged press releases you will find elsewhere.

The site launched in 2026 out of a simple frustration: too much gaming coverage is thin, interchangeable, and written for search engines instead of for people. We set out to build the opposite — a place where every article is worth the click.

How we work

Every article is written and edited by people who genuinely play the games and follow the industry closely — never spun out of a template. We spend real time with what we cover, we check our facts, and we are upfront about what we know versus what we are speculating on. When something is a rumor or an unconfirmed leak, we say so plainly and link back to the original source.

When we recommend a game or a piece of hardware, it is because we believe it is genuinely worth it. Our editorial opinions are our own, and they are never for sale. Where a link is sponsored or affiliated, we disclose it.

Editorial independence

We are reader-first. Advertising and affiliate partnerships help keep the lights on, but they never decide what we cover or what we say about it. And if we get something wrong, we fix it — corrections from readers are always welcome.

Who is behind it

Door To Gaming is led by Shujaat Ahmed, a lifelong gamer who started the site to build the gaming resource he always wished existed. We are growing into a small team of writers who share that same obsession.
